How We Calculate These Prices
We fetch the global gold ounce price (XAU/USD) from certified financial sources, convert to MAD using the official exchange rate, then divide by 31.1035 grams per ounce.
We apply purity ratios for each karat: 24K = 100%, 22K = 91.67%, 21K = 87.5%, 18K = 75%.
Buy prices add an estimated 18% over spot (20% VAT + ~3% making) and sell prices deduct 1%. Actual prices vary by shop, craftsmanship, and location.
